Swimming Information
Ames Golf & Country Club is proud to feature both a heated Olympic-size swimming pool with separate diving area, and a wading pool for our youngest Members. The area is surrounded by sunbathing area and offers convenient access to the Snack Bar and a Cabana offering full shower and locker facilities for youngsters under the age of 16. Additionally, the Club staffs certified lifeguards that are on duty at all times during hours of operation. The Swimming Pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day for your entire family's summertime fun!
Our swimming program for boys and girls is one of the best in the area providing individual or group lessons and a competitive Swim Team. Not only does Ames Golf & Country Club provide quality instruction to the children, we also provide a fabulous escape for mom or dad during lessons. While your children are busy in the pool, you can be relaxing pool-side, taking a few practice shots on the driving range, or enjoying a refreshing cocktail in the Clubroom.
